Privacy Policy

Pareto Systems (“we”, “us”) publishes the Pareto Systems mobile app (the “App”) for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information the App collects, why, and who it is shared with.
In short: the App contains no advertising, analytics or tracking, and we never sell your information. The public content (Feed, Videos, Posts and Articles) can be used without signing in, and nothing about you is collected to show it.
Information We Collect
Pareto Academy sign-in. If you sign in to the Pareto Academy, the App sends your email address and password to our Academy service (app.paretoacademy.com) to verify your existing account. The App keeps a sign-in session in your device’s secure storage so you stay signed in, and remembers the last email address used to fill in the sign-in form. Your password is not stored on the device. Signing out removes the session and the cached Academy content from the device.
Pareto AI Assistant. If your Academy package includes the AI Assistant, the questions you type are sent to our Academy service and on to OpenAI, which generates the answers. Please do not enter confidential client information or other sensitive personal details. To let the Assistant follow the conversation, our Academy service keeps only your 10 most recent questions and sends them along with each new one. Older questions are discarded as new ones arrive; no conversation history is kept beyond that. OpenAI processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy (openai.com/policies).
Push notifications. If you allow notifications, the App registers a notification token for your device, together with whether it is iOS or Android, with our server. We use it only to tell you about new content. It is not linked to your name or Academy account, and it is deleted automatically when it stops being valid (for example, when you uninstall the App). You can turn notifications off at any time in your device’s Settings.
Schedule a Call. This screen shows our booking page from Calendly inside the App. Anything you enter there, such as your name and email address, goes directly to Calendly and is handled under Calendly’s privacy policy (calendly.com/privacy).
Technical information. As with any internet service, our servers and service providers receive your device’s IP address and basic request details when the App loads content. Our servers keep standard access logs for security and troubleshooting.
How We Use Information
We use the information above only to provide the App’s features: signing you in, showing your Academy programs, answering Assistant questions, sending notifications and booking calls. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Service Providers
We share information only with providers that operate parts of the App on our behalf:
- OpenAI: generates AI Assistant answers.
- Calendly: call bookings.
- Apple (Apple Push Notification service) and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging): deliver notifications.
- Expo: delivers App updates.
- Content delivery networks such as Cloudflare, which supply some of the components that display documents.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Links to Other Sites
The App links to other websites, such as Amazon, Lavish Cards and paretosystems.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Security
All data the App sends travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and sign-in sessions are kept in the device’s secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your Choices
You can use the public content without an account, and you can decline or switch off notifications at any time.
Your Pareto Academy account, including which programs and features (such as the AI Assistant) your package includes, is set up and managed through the Pareto Academy platform, not the App. The App only signs you in to that existing account, and you can sign out of the App at any time.
To access, correct or delete information associated with your Academy account, or to change what your package includes, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for financial professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
